Hey y'all! Yesterday, I was in Atlanta on a buying trip for Rolling Runway at America's Mart. After a long, stressful but fun day we decided to walk to SkyView Atlanta to avoid rush hour traffic back to Athens and relax a little. I have been wanting to go to SkyView since it first opened and it was gorgeous seeing Atlanta from that view. Make sure to bring your student ID for a discount or there is a groupon for 2 tickets & chocolate that we regretted not purchasing after seeing the Russel Stovers box in the ticket booth. Maybe next time. I purchased this Show Me Your MuMu tank last week (on instagram) from a boutique in Atlanta last week and it was perfect for mart. It's so soft and flowy and perfect for when you want to be comfortable but still cute. The jeans I bought on recommendation from my BFF from target and the shoes are my summer staple flip flops from Francesca's. My feet didn't even hurt until the end of the day after we had already walked 10,000 steps. My bag I actually purchased at the mart in October from Golden Stella...if you ever get to go to the mart you have to go there to see the craziness and the insane amount of jewelry and accessories they have. Atlanta was so fun yesterday but today I am exhausted! Stay tuned to see all the cute things we purchased at mart!

Feelin' Crabby

Last week, I ate at Preserve on Broad Street for the first time and I'm not going to lie...I mainly wanted to go because of the beautiful crab mural on the outside of the building. So I made my boyfriend meet me there so we could eat (& take pictures) and we loved the food! This blog might slowly turn into a food blog, but I don't hate it. I had the doublestack burger and it might be one of the best I've ever had! I'm definitely going back for brunch to have the chicken and waffles soon. The owner was so nice and informative and the building is so cute and unique. It's a small restaurant but those are the best in my opinion!

But back to fashion...All of these pieces are my go to pieces when I want to look put together but don't know what I want to wear. I purchased this skirt from Francesca's last fall and have worn it every season! It just goes with so much and is really easy to throw on and it's very comfortable. My tank top is from Forever 21 last summer and it is also one of those tanks that goes with anything and everything. My shoes are also my "go to" for whenever I want to dress up a little. And I LOVE these sunglasses my best friend bought me. They might not be everyone's style but they are so fun to wear and life's too short to not wear heart shaped sunnies, right?

Summer Style

During the summer, I pretty much ONLY wear dresses. It's just too hot for pants in Georgia during June, July & August (and mostly September & October too.) My dress is from Francesca's, which just opened in Athens & they have great summer clothes and prices. I purchased my handbag in March from Head Over Heels (Macon, Ga) on instagram as my "summer bag" and haven't used another handbag since. Big Buddha is one of my favorite handbag brands for nice but affordable bags. My first Big Buddha bag was hot pink and quilted and honestly, I wish I still had it. My necklace is a custom piece by my friend Haley at SoulPepper Designs. It is two coins I brought back from Europe last summer and makes me want to go back every time I wear it!

Date Night

I worked on Saturday & then walked down the street with my boyfriend to a new restaurant called The Table for dinner. The Table has really great food at a good price and this nice ivy wall that you can make your boyfriend take pictures of you in front of! I think he's pretty good at being my new personal photographer.
